My husband and I have noticed such a difference in our breathing and "dryness" after purchasing and using this product for a few weeks now. It holds about 2 nights worth of water and the small light on the front doesn't bother us because it's below sight line. I can see how the "night light" function could be good for some people, however we like total darkness in the bedroom. I also love that we can use essential oils without contaminating the basin. There is a small drawer on the side of the humidifier that you can add your oils to. One suggestion would be to have a few replacement sleeves for the oils so that we can change out our scents. We have a few replacements from another device, but it would have been nice to start out with at least 2 or 3 and then have the option to purchase additional "replacements". The packaging is very minimal and I don't really even know what the brand name is because it's not marked anywhere (I can see) on the humidifier- which I rather like. If you use essential oils, this is a humidifier I would recommend. Works like the Vicks and other name brands with the added benefit of the oils drawer
