I previously bought the single stomp rocket, which was just mediocre, and I was shocked at how much better this version is. The main difference is the base. The single rocket product has a base that does not stay where you point it, and periodically falls apart. The kids are not able to put it back together without adult help. What a huge pain! This base stays in one piece and is both stable and adjustable. The kids love it. The other big difference is the rockets themselves. These are higher quality, and they are much easier to insert onto the launcher. Even a two year old is able to load and launch these rockets on their own. Obviously, two kids can use this version at once, which also reduces fighting. I was hesitant to buy this after my mediocre experience with the single person stomp rocket, but I'm really glad I did. This thing is awesome for kids aged two to about eight.
