This mattress shipped free via 2 day Prime Shipping in time for arrival on Christmas Eve (this was purchased for a Christmas Present). The box upon arrival was in great shape, no punctures or cuts. The package itself weighed 90 pounds. I felt sorry for the poor UPS man who had to deliver this one alone. Upon opening the package the mattress is compressed and rolled up for shipping. You tear open the drawstring bag forcefully at the seam like the directions say. Then you place the mattress (still flattened inside of tight plastic) in whatever bed frame you purchased or built (I built mine as a part of the Christmas Present for my parents). Once you get it placed the zipper side of the mattress goes on bottom. This is where the plastic comes off and the mattress starts to rise into what it will be. It took a total of maybe 5 minutes for it to complete its process. They say let it rise for 72 hours. Use your own discretion on this. After making the bed (regular King sheets fit perfectly, no need for deep pocket sheets), I tested it out and its feels like sleeping on a cloud. Perfect from start to finish. Would recommend to a friend. As with the whole new memory foam mattress smell, this was by far the best one I have encountered. I am not sure if the whole "green tea memory foam" has anything to do with it, but It was minimal to nothing at all! Even better! One thing I will note: If you are building your own frame, I built mine at 80.5x77.5 to allow room to tuck the comforters and stuff in. So if this is a look you are aiming for, keep that in mind. The mattress is true to size and depth. The King Size is 76x80 and it is 10 inches deep. In my pictures, I inlayed the cleats by 3 inches, making only 7 inches of the mattress visible.
