It was time for a new mattress after I embarrassingly had mine for ohhh, 12 years?! I've never ordered a "bed in a box" before. I have always purchased conventional mattresses that have springs and come in their full size. These days there are so many online bed retailers to choose from, but with an average of $700 for a queen bed, most were out of my price range. On a whim, I decided to turn to Amazon just to see what they had. There are many beds available, and it took me a couple of months to make a final decision, but I am glad I chose this one. This bed is more on the firm side, which is my preference. It is VERY comfortable. As others have mentioned, it took about an hour to fully "fluff up" to the full size. I did not notice any chemical-y odors, which was nice, because I am pretty sensitive to that. One of my favorite things about this mattress is that if you are a hot sleeper, it will help. Between my husband and dog, it gets really hot in the bed so this has been a nice change in the month that I have been sleeping on it so far. I was skeptical about buying a bed online, but the generous return policy helped to make my decision. I would totally recommend this bed. Super comfy and affordable.
