Great Value - Exactly What I Wanted!!!
First off, before buying something to protect your Kindle you must decide if you are a Sleeve person or a Cover person. A cover stays on your kindle while you read, like a book cover, while a sleeve is designed to simply protect it from dust and scratches when not using. Since the new $79 and $99 (Touch) Kindles are extremely light, especially the $79 model which I use, you might, like me, find it is much nicer to use `naked' since it is so light and effortless to hold. For me adding a cover while reading detracts from the ultra-light feel by weighing it down (a little). This is all personal preference so play with your Kindle for a bit before buying protection for it. I mention this since there are several reviews, for all sleeves, that complain this is not a cover - exactly, it's a SLEEVE. Regarding this design. It is exactly what I wanted; a small, light and relatively inexpensive (most go for $25 or $30 making this the best value) sleeve to keep my kindle between using to protect it from getting dusty or scratched. As for fit, I am am using the $79 Kindle which is slightly lighter, and more importantly, slightly smaller in every dimension than the Touch - which is 0.3" taller and 0.2" wider. Anyway, mine fits great with a slight amount of wiggle room so I would expect the Touch model to fit a pinch more snugly due to the slight size difference (but I have not tried one). There are a few reviews that comment that it it too small or too tight. I can only say that it would be too small if you tried to fit the Kindle Keyboard model (much longer) or too tight if you did not remove the white insert. If you left the insert, which it ships with inside to hold its shape, then yeah, it will be too tight. Take it out. One last thing, it seems that Belkin customer service has responded to many of these reviews. They should be commended for actually listening to customer feedback, something you would expect from a good company always trying to make a better product. Highly reommended!!! Lastly, I also purchased the Verso Clip-On Reading Light for Kindle (Graphite) which is another value. Small, light, inexpensive and provides great coverage without glare problems. Also, highly recommended. Edited to add: Yesterday, Dec 30, 2011, I dropped my Kindle with sleeve about 4 feet onto the hard pavement of a parking lot - no damage at all. So the sleeve seems to be adequate protection for that type of fall - plus the ultra light weight helps as well since a heavier item may or may not have been damaged
