This fan was expensive, but it has proved to be worth the cost. It's very quiet. It puts out good air flow, better than the big fan we replaced it with in the bedroom. It just seems to be made of quality parts. I have never had a fan with this much quality. If you just need a slight amount of air flow, it has a whisper quiet mode. You barely feel it, and you cannot hear it. Good for those moments when you need a gentle breeze but don't want all your papers getting blown off the table. I was afraid of buying a fan this pricey, but I'd do it again now that I know how good it is. Note: the loud noise on my video is not from the fan, its the microphone on my tablet because of the wind.
