I decided to write a review as i realized it's been a little over 4 years, 3 major drops from desk/hand to wooden floor plus 3 moves (in a vehicle for days) since i've owned this light box. Helps a lot for cloudy days of any season. It will interfere with your smart phone/tablet (touch screen device) if you happen to lean your phone against it. Otherwise no other interference. It doesn't hurt that it is exceedingly bright and outshines my desk lamp. It's not light nor is it heavy. Can still be handled with one hand. Just make sure you have a good grip because that's how i've dropped it. Can't say that i've noticed any benefit of the ion thingy but it doesn't hurt. Pros: • Über durable • super bright • intuitively angled (easily used in front of you while watching TV, the light is in your visual fields) • Worth the price • Timer intervals on the light box in increments of 15 minutes (15, 30, 45, 60 min) options is a nice feature Cons: • Perhaps a little big • bc the box slants back, it has a tendency to topple backwards with a little accidental push
