Great Alternative to Cricut Vinyl!
I’ve been using Cricut printable vinyl for some time now for my sticker business, but I had a large order to complete and limited funds so I decided to give this brand a try. First impressions:
You get twice as much product for roughly the same price as Cricut but it does not disappoint!
How I Use It: I use a Canon Pixma TS6300 printer on the 8.5”x11” matte photo paper option and one sheet by one feed it through the rear tray. Some folks complained about this jamming their device but 20+ sheets later and I still haven’t had a single jam.
Performance: I’ve also noticed that the ink absorption is phenomenal with this vinyl, it doesn’t run or smudge at all as long as you wait a moment after printing to touch it. I’ve also tested the water resistance by doing a test print, dipping my finger into water, and running it along my print - and voila! No smudging! I still recommend sealing your stickers for longevity; either with a clear single sided laminate (about $3/roll at Walmart) or Krylon UV resistant spray (about $10/can on Amazon).
Final Thoughts: I adore this printable vinyl, and I’ll certainly be buying more of it. I’d recommend this to anyone regardless of skill level looking to make stickers. If I could give it a higher rating I would, but 5 stars will suffice for now.
I will update my review as I continue to use it if anything changes, but for now I’m going to try for a sponsorship from Joyeza, hahaha.
By the way, you can find photos and videos of my stickers/me using this vinyl on my Instagram and TikTok, both @ecto_mon
Thanks!!!
