Perfect for safe eclipse viewing
I tested these out by hesitantly looking directly at the sun after receiving them. I must say that I was surprised at how effectively they worked. I was a bit skeptical seeing that these are made of cardboard, and cost slightly over $1 a piece. But don't let the inexpensive cost fool you. They fit well, and even have two hinge crease options on the temple so that you can fold them based on the width of your head, (See picture). There's instructions and warnings printed on the inside, and the outside has a decent cosmic design. Before ordering these, I checked the NASA website to get any information they had on the upcoming solar eclipse. They have the manufacturer of these glasses, (American Paper Optics), as one of the few that have actually certified their product for viewing of the eclipse. That gives me peace of mind. I'm happy with my purchase, and and confident that these glasses will keep my eyes protected while viewing this amazing upcoming eclipse.
