The "Goldilocks" of mattresses - not to soft not to hard, but just right. :P
This is a good mattress. I was afraid of heat retention and that "sinking" deep into the foam felling commonly associated with foam mattresses but I'm happy to report that in my experience so far, none of these things are true about this mattress. Firmness wise, I find it just right; it's not too soft nor too firm and support my body weight well (I'm 5"10, 160 lbs). The foam lets my shoulders and lower back sink in while keeping the rest of my body firmly supported no matter what sleeping position I'm in (on back or on side.) For those who like to sleep dangerously (on the edge of the mattress) I'm also glad to say that edges share the same firmness of the rest of the mattress.
About body heat retention, I've no complaints. On my old spring mattress I had to switch my wool comforter out for a very thin blanket because of the build up of heat. On this mattress, I'm back to using my wool blanket without feeling to hot.
About my only gripe with the mattress is that when it's first opened there's a strong and foul chemical odor to it which can take up to a day or more (three days in my case) for it to completely dissipate.
Pros: Easy to setup and comfortable - good heat dissipation, good firmness evenly distributed over entire mattress, good support for shoulders and lower back.
Cons: Has chemical odor after unpacking that can take 3 days or more to dissipate.
Overall, I'm really enjoying this mattress and will be purchasing another for my quest room.
