When it came time to replace my small 20-shoe organizer, I needed something sturdy. Specifically, I hated organizers where the horizontal bars were simply plugged into the vertical on either side because as the rack fills up with shoes, the weight causes the horizantal bars to sag and come off on either end sending all your shoes down into a pile! This chrome shoe tower by Whitmore was the answer! Everything is metallic and you securely screw down the horizontal bars on either side to the vertical bars. At the bottom, it has wheels to help you move around. An added bonus is that the horizontal bars where your shoes rest, have a somewhat rough surface to increase friction, thus, your shoes stay in place! I love it. Not a single complaint. Oh yeah, and it holds a ton of shoes too!
