One of the reasons im writing this review is because i read the first guys review (Andy H.) and i just wanted to explain why hes having issues with this gun so everyone else doesnt think its crap like he does. First off, if your a finish carpenter by trade and you use a finish nailgun all day, everyday, U SHOULD NOT BE USING a battery or gas operated nailer! It is not what they are intended for and not a single company on the market makes one and says they are for extreme every day use. The ONLY guns for that type of heavy everyday use are pneumatic operated guns. They have very few moving parts, they are very cheap and light, and you can fire thousands of nails before having to service them, not to mention they are so cheap by that time you throw it away and buy a new one! I can understand wanting to use something without a cord all day might be more practical from your thinking but it's not. They make tiny compressors and extremely light flexible hoses for finished nailers. Pretty much to the point where you don't even notice it has a hose attached to it. For everyone else buying this gun who doesn't run thousands of nails a day, everyday through it, it's an awesome machine! It works great, the battery lasts forever, and it's simple to use. It's a little heavier than the pasload gas/battery guns but what you gain in weight you get back in less maintenance and less operating costs because no gas to buy. I have had this gun since they were introduced and never had a problem with it. Again I will go back to say if you plan on using this every day it's probably not the right gun for you. It's not what they were built for. I do maybe one project per week with mine, and i take care of it and keep it clean. It runs great. Sorry for the long review and I hope I added some clarity to the conflicting bad reviews.
