This blankie is most excellent. Please don't let the reviews about a "strong chemical smell" deter you from buying this item. The odor is the natural lanolin from the wool. When you receive the blanket, hang it on the clothes line for a couple of hours; The ultra violet from the sun will diminish the odor. The blanket is not smelly or scratchy. It is very smooth and very warm. I recommend the tan color. It's a great Earth color which adds to the natural appeal and is great camo if needed. I was a Winter Warfare Specialist in the Marine Corps., and I plan to see that this Woolly Mammoth blanket, gets lots of camping time in this Winter. Mt. Silverthorn, here I come.
