It works, but I want to warn you.
Maybe my information would be useful to someone who is searching the Internet for more details on this device as I couldn’t find enough before I purchased it. I was using the device every day for the first 2 months before bed and the difference was noticeable after only a few uses, so I got excited. I was thoroughly studying my face in the mirror almost daily and noticed that the contour of the cheekbones became a bit more defined and slightly lifted. Not a lot, but enough to notice. It would lessen a bit by the end of the day, but with a session before bed all was good again. After two months of continuous use I switched to 2-3 times per week and the effect almost disappeared. Daily use was what was needed specifically for my facial tissue. I renewed the daily regimen. 4 months later some strange facial twitching would start randomly during the day in different parts of the face – the eye, the lip, etc. I didn’t realize it was related to the device. I got concerned and it was also a bit uncomfortable interacting with people during the twitching episodes. After some research I stopped using the Nuface to test. The twitching stopped. It came back when I renewed the regimen. I’ve learned to keep it below the temple area to avoid eye twitch and to find a different spot below the chin to avoid lip twitch. 5 months after purchase I was organizing Christmas celebration pictures on my computer and something caught my attention in those pictures. The right side of my face became very flat! The cheekbone was still lifted, but there was a lot less volume than on the left side. I got so alarmed! Waited for a month hoping it would be normal again – it didn’t. I went to a medical doctor who specializes in facial injections. She said microcurrents do burn some fat, but it might not happen to everyone. It cost me $700 to inject 1 syringe of filler into the right side to even it out a bit, but it wasn’t enough and I can’t afford more than that. I do believe it’s a very effective device, as it does lift and tone with regular use, but if you are petite or thin, that’s what might happen to you. I would still recommend it, but I also wanted to warn.
