Backstory, when Crocs first came out years ago I resisted the shoes and the movement. All my kids wore them and even some adults.. Not sure if it was the foam, the hype, the trend . . . or just all of it. I had serious unfounded prejudice towards the shoes. Fast-forward to today. Finding myself in a condo alone with hard cold floors and worn out Birks.... it was a miserable experience, I needed help. That's when I searched for Crocs... at a low point in my life... I then I found these knock-off brand that were half the price... I ordered, received and tried them on. I was surprised by the comfort and was amazed that a product this good is still legal and not heavily taxed. Despite the external comfort, I was conflicted internally and vowed to not wear them out doors, that was a Tuesday, by Thursday I had worn them all over town and in a court hearing (video conference). For me the are my emotional support shoes so do not be surprised if after wearing these knock-off brand shoes that your viewpoint on injection molded footwear begins to morph with each marshmallowy step.
