This game is the best. You get to be so imaginative and unlike some other town building games, it isn't cartoon-y. It has become much more involved over time. I haven't reached the point of my Sims dying yet, but thanks to a player's group on Facebook I found out a way to protect my Sims until I can make them immortal. And so what if they die? You can always just make an identical Sim again. It's not a game you win or lose. I think some people don't like it because it really does require a lot of your attention. You won't enjoy playing it unless you plan on devoting time everyday to it.
