Favorite out of 5 I tried! Overall best out there
i Realized after using a month that I was hasty and unfair with my negative review of it a couple days in. I’m new to humidifiers and had unreal expectations. I purchased 4 different brands/models ranging in price $60-$100 and this one is my favorite.
Mainly because of its tremendous output.
600ml per hour!!! That’s double allll the others I looked at and or bought. No matter how fancy, expensive, or feature packed they all maxed out at 280-300ml
And that’s the most important feature when choosing one. Second is always get too filled! I tried a bottom fill one and it was a huge messy pain.
3rd is water capacity. Get as big as you can so you aren’t constantly filling it. This one has the minimum I would purchase, 5.5l and I refill it once a day running it 24hrs straight on high.
That is my only complaint on this one, I wish it was at least 6liter capacity.
One of my favorite unique features for this one is the large digital display. I like being able to see its levels in the dark or far away.
I also love the sleek modern design because it’s in a dressy room. It looks like a fancy expensive contraption.
I highly recommend this one. I was amazed that even the 7.5l tower humidifiers listed at $120-$160 still only had HALF the mist output of this one
this one is best for larger areas, like your main house area. Mine is in my great room and regulates about 600 sf. It’s not ideal for a bedroom because it does make noise. And you don’t really need a high output one in a 12x13 room anyway. If you have a super size bedroom and you sleep with the tv on or music then you could use this one. If your bedroom is average size then get the tbi pro 6L top fill amazon has listed. It’s what’s in our 12x13 bedroom, it’s max output is 300ml per hr on high but that’s plenty for a 12 by 13 room.
Lastly and very important!! Make sure you lift the water bucket out of it and clean under it every 2weeks and always use filtered water in any humidifier.
If it ever starts maker more noise than normal don’t panic, it’s just dirty. Clean it out good with Clorox water.
If you ever let it run completely out of water, lift the bucket out and pour enough water in the base to raise the floater then put the bucket back filled. That keeps it from struggling and sounding like a tractor when you start it back.
