I was really surprised about copper as a supplement. I'm doing some research and thought I was getting enough. But when I compared the health of Americans between 1900 and 2000, I noticed a large increase in heart problems, connective tissue disorders, and much more. In doing more research, I compared dietay sources of copper in 1900 to the present. We no longer use copper pots. We no longer use copper pipes. Roundup (glyphosate) binds to copper in soil and inhibits copper absorption by plants that we eat. Finally, the increase in glyphosate residue in our foods also binds copper in our bodies! Water utilities remove metals. Bottom line: we're screwed. We need copper, but are not getting enough. Copper is even used in bone marrow in the making of stem cells. When I looked at the association of copper and heart problems and cancer, I figured I'd try some. Surprise. This is the only supplement I noticed a difference within hours when riding my bike. It really does help with oxygen transport and stamina for me. .... there's always more to learn
