Not an anti-perspirant but fairly pleasant
Have always had excessive sweating in the arm pits since my late teens. No medical issues causing it just is what it is. Have been using either Dove or Secret prescription strength deodorant/anti-perspirants but still need to apply something mid day. Did a test of Lume scent-free deodorant vs Kopari deodorant. Both are more natural, aluminum free, and organic/vegan. I'm the opposite of vegan but I appreciate the fewer chemicals the better in some cases, especially with something I was applying to myself multiple times a day. The Kopari has a pleasant but thankfully not overpowering coconut odor. The applicator is unique and goes on smooth without feeling wet or sticky. This was the biggest difference between Kopari and Lume. The Lume goes on wet-wet-wet, stays feeling wet and gross. Odor protection- by mid day there was a faint hint of funk (nothing anyone but me has noticed) by the end of a 14 hour day it hadn't grown much and there was still that pleasant scent. No anti-perspirant activity - see pictures (it's not claiming to be). By comparison, the gross feeling and slightly weird yeasty smelling Lume definitely dealt with any and all smell for a day, I did not get 36 or even 48 hours of this effect though. The above pictures are showing me wearing a Thompson anti-sweat stain undershirt under scrubs after being at work for barely an hour and wearing Kopari, the other picture is how completely dry I was wearing just a Numi anti-sweat stained undershirt after hiking over 6 miles on a hot humid summer day wearing the Kopari deodorant. So this is a plug for Numi shirts (worth the extra money and didn't feel like noisy crinkly diapers under my arms) as well. Price-wise, the Kopari was $15 with free prime shipping here on amazon. The Lume was $12.99 with free shipping from the company but the 10% off code advertised didn't work. What will I chose- honestly I think I'm going to get more Kopari in the future. The small difference in odor protection I got was way compensated for by the feel and absorption of this product. The Lume Unscented just smells slightly unpleasant to me and the feeling on application was gross. I don't need something to work for more than 24 hours. I've been using both now for almost 3 weeks and until they make something more natural that's also at least attempting to be an anti-perspirant too, I'll stick with Kopari and Numi undershirts! Hopefully amazon will start carrying Numi! 12/2018 update: After a month and a half I have had to stop using either natural deodorant as it is no longer controlling odor much. I'll occasionally use it when I'm staying home and taking it easy but it was getting to the point at work where I was REEKING within a few hours and had to wash up and apply my standard secret/dove product. I felt like Pig Pen. Still loving my Numi though!
