We recently had water in our basement, so when I found the Govee water sensors on Amazon it thought that it would perfect to monitor our basement for flooding. We have had the system for about 2 months now and there is 1 sensor that keeps faulting out. I reset it and then a few days later it faults again. I also tried removing and re-adding the sensor (multiple times) and same it’s thing a few days later, it faults out. Unfortunately govee support has been of no assistance, they have told me to reset the sensor, remove/add the sensor, and now that it needs to be as close as possible to the gateway. The other 2 sensor are working completely fine and all 3 are about the same distance from the gateway, so I find it hard to believe that is the issue. Either way, I have the system where only 2 of the 3 sensors seem to be functioning and the govee support team has yet to provide a resolution. *UPDATE* The Govee Service Customer service team was able to resolve my issue and provided me a replacement system free of charge. They also advised that if I was to have any additional issues going that they would work to resolve them. They also stated they offer a 12month warranty period and will provide lifetime technical support. Since receiving the replacement units, I have had no additional issues and the system is functioning properly.
