It covers digestion of all the food groups and helps with lactose intolerance as well. If you have GERD or esophageal reflux disorder commonly known as heartburn this will help as long as you increase fiber intake or get a fiber supplement and add a solid probiotic and drink enough clean water. These are veggie capsules with no excipients binder or other junk like magnesium stearate that you find in so many other supplements. I have this company's daily Ultra Nutrient as well as their Vitamin D-3 also top notch. Trust me you do not want crap in your supplements that are known toxins. This has none and does what it's designed to do very well with no side effects at all. It's certainly pricey but you get what you pay for. In this case like the label states: purity. Pure Encapsulations is doing an outstanding job and again stands out above the crowd.
