My husband was just telling me that these candles has changed the mood in the house. I agree, everything is so serene now. I have them on every night. They are wonderful to meditate in front of. I loved them so much I went and got lanterns to put them in and now my living room has been transformed. As of tonight, I have used them for a total of 31 hours. As you can see in my pictures they are still going strong. I have left them on the timer some nights and manually turned them off on others. I will try to remember to update their total hours before I change the batteries. Overall all I could not be more pleased with the candles. Update: I posted a picture side by side of how the candles look from when I first got them up to a total of 33 hours usage. I have been using them on average 2 hours for a little over 2 weeks. I must say I am impressed with how the batteries are holding up so far. I am using the Amazon brand batteries. These are not the rechargeable ones. So battery duration is a big issue with me. Again, so far its great. I will update again once batteries need to be changed and give total battery usage time. 2nd Update: The last picture shows how 45 hours look compared to a candle in which I inserted new batteries for a comparison. Its been now a little over 3 weeks, at 2 hours a night and the candles are still going good. I feel no need to change the batteries now because the brightness of the candles is now a nice dim color. I am very happy with the duration of the batteries. I will update again with total battery usage time once I change batteries. 3rd and final update: At 49 hours of battery usage I feel the need to change the batteries. They still have a little go left but for my taste I am changing the batteries.I took 2 pictures both without flash. The candles have been running a little shy of 1 month. I had no problem with timer etc. This has certainly been a 5 star purchase for me. I hope this has been helpful. Cheers!
