Now this is an excellent scratching post. Seeing is believing, so by all means, check out the video to see why I say it is excellent. From the dangling bird on the top to the spring-loaded birdie on the base, cats have a lot of interesting things to play with while sharpening their claws. We have two scratching posts already, but they are only about 18" high and our kittens are getting much bigger each day. They need something taller, and this 26" post is just the thing. It is amazingly packaged with a fold-in-half base and sectional post, but quite sturdy when assembled, enough so that I seriously doubt our cats being able to topple it over, no matter how rough they get. A big thumbs up for an excellent product. I like it.
