First you are required to download an app to use the translation functions. You can use a touch mode that let's you pass a headphone to the other person you want to communicate with. You must then touch your phone screen to switch between listener and speaker. You can also use a speaker mode to say your native language and have it played out loud in their language. You can also speak in your language and have it translated in a different language if you would like to learn that language. These also work as regular headphones if you want to listen to music on your phone or take phone calls. They last about 30 hours according to the manual. The case charges the headphones without having to be plugged in and it is magnetic. The only downside is you have to have the app open to translate language and the headphones are kind of large. There is some delay so having a conversation while multiple people are speaking doesn't work. This makes it for use in only 1 on 1 conversation. You also have to be close to the person and it has difficulty picking up voices from far away. I had difficulty with getting both headphones to connect. It doesn't tell you in the manual, but once 1 connects you can tap the blue button to connect the second one if it doesn't auto connect. I posted a picture of the screen with the blue button.
