I was quite surprised by this little machine. I bought a Big Boss Air Fryer earlier in the week and was very disappointed. I told myself if the NuWave didn't wow me I'd give up on the air fry craze all together. Out of the box I plugged it in and tried a simple meal for the kids- nuggets and tater tots. It was ready in 12. Minutes and perfectly crispy like fast food. The real wow moment came from the chicken wings I made for my husband. I didn't add any flour breading, just a bit of Cajun seasoning. I set the time for 20 minutes and when I removed the basket I saw perfect crispy wings. The NuWave was able to cook them all the way around without me having to flip them over half way. If I had to mention a down side it would be having to make smaller batches. I can certainly deal with that since I was able to make perfect wings without oil.
