This was my third egg keeper I've purchased. I tried the Rubbermaid (okay, but doesn't hold enough and lost the lid in the last move), a set from Amazon that was two platter-type holders with plastic covers. What a mess those were - okay for a buffet table, but that would be all. Not good for transporting anywhere or even fridge storage. So, decided to give these a try. Our family loves deviled eggs, and I make them almost weekly in the summer. Our fridge space is at a premium, so always looking for something that will help it store easier or in a smaller footprint. This is it! I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the quality of this set. You get a total of FIVE pieces in this set - two of the actual containers, two inserts for deviled eggs and the top latch/lid. The white trays come out, so you can use these to hold almost anything you'd want to. Each of the trays holds a dozen eggs (either hard boiled, fresh or deviled halves). The bottom snaps onto the upper tray securely. I wouldn't worry about it falling off, unless someday the snap itself broke off. Possible, but it would take some really rough treatment to break them. The lid snaps on to whichever tray is on the top level. You can easily pick it up by the handle and off you go. Now, I haven't traveled anywhere with this yet, but I can see it working very well for about anything - picnic, car trips, etc. I'll be getting another set or two for sure. They can all connect together. I'd love to see some different lid colors, but other than that, love this set! Both segments are full of eggs in the fridge right now from making devilled eggs yesterday. VERY pleased with the airtightness (?) of the containers and love how little space it really takes up in the fridge. Well done, Snap 'N' Stack!
