I have used my Vitamix more in the two weeks since receiving this tool than I have in the previous 2 years. My problem has always been the waste of not being able to get foods trapped under the blades without risking injury. This tool lets me reach into all the nooks and crannies and the odd-shaped sides to scrape out even the thickest hummus or pesto. In my opinion, Vitamix should include this tool with every machine they sell.
