After being a super loyal Irobot Roomba family, it was hard to make the decision to try something new. The Roomba kept getting stuck under furniture, we purchased new furniture it couldn't get under and part of the top sensor broke from trying to force itself out of under furniture, which then had a sharp edge that dragged across fabic as it went by. So after about 20 months of loyal Roomba use, I thought I'd try this one since it had great reviews. First of all, it has several great features my Roomba does not have. It has 2 circular spin brushes up front that to get that feature with the Roomba costs over $500. Its very so to it fits under the new furniture and doesn't get stuck under my old furniture. It makes a FRACTION of the noise my Roomba does. Generally, when we run the Roomba we can't even stand to be on the same floor because it's pretty loud, and even louder on hardwood and tile.. with the Eufy, we can read in the same room with it on-site unbelievable! Best of all it's so much more cost effective to purchase. Overall, while vacuuming really isn't a big deal and we capable of doing it, having a robot vacuum allows me to be more in control of my time and spend more time with my kids. If you have a pet with hair, a robot vacuum should be issued from the Vet, because it's that important. Amazing purchase and puts my Roomba to shame in every way. Having said that, I still run both vacuums because I have them but I will not purchase another Roomba. We are thrilled in every was with the Eufy.
