For the price, comfort level and all things included in having a way better mattress then I had. I have to say this is one of my top buys off of amazon. The bed has a medium firmness for me but I’m also 5’2” and weigh 125 pounds so I’m not a big person. I was afraid by the reviews that it was going to be way to firm for me, not the case but I’m also not sinking to the bottom of a cloud. There was a very low odor smell when I opened the mattress itself that dissipated in about 30 minutes (I also have a large room) so I kept the ceiling fan on after reading reviews that the smell could potentially linger. Also I took the advice of others who purchased this bed and made sure that when I officially unveiled it, it was positioned perfectly on my bed so there didn’t need to be any unnecessary shifting etc. The mattress does have weight to it and doing this along I really wanted to make sure everything was all systems go! Once I opened the mattress it took about 5 minutes for it to expand to roughly 7inches. Then after 30 minutes of opening it was at 9.5 inch (good enough for me). I did have to adjust the corners where the stitching was tight so the foam had more room to expand, other then that I am overly satisfied with this purchase. And after owning a Tempur-pedic myself this bed is a better buy. I did my homework and looked at mattresses for about a week before I decided on this one, I was looking for something softer I didn’t want a memory foam/ gel mattress to be the equivalent of laying on a bale of hay, this mattress is not the case. If you are on the fence read the reviews and decide for yourself, I personally am very satisfied!
