I love that the bag was translucent because it was easy to immediately take into account which possessions I had in it. It has a nice capacity and fit all of my electronics that I wanted to protect along with the charger cables and accessories. I should note that I never had to deal with this being submerged in water or in the rain but I am still glad that I purchased this because it provided peace of mind. While I cannot attest to its usefulness in that regard, I was able to test its air-tightness and it sealed up really well so I'm sure it would have protected my camera if it needed to. One weird benefit that others may not care about: when I first opened this it smelled like a beach ball and I LOVE THE SMELL OF BEACH BALLS
