This dress is good for just kicking around in the summer. I've worn it to the beach and around my house. It's a bit see through so I'd recommend a slip if you go out in public, even with the darker color. I bought a similar dress from another vendor and it was too short, despite both vendors listing the same length. This one was spot on. I bought a slightly larger size and I don't think I needed to since it seems to run true to size.
