These glass food containers are really heavy duty and thick, and were packaged securely with a nice box. I have no worries about them breaking or chipping when I put them in my lunch bag for work. The lids are the best feature and why I'm giving them 5 stars though. I've always had problems with my other containers from the store, but these are by far the best glass tupperware set I've had. The lids make a very clear "snapping" sound when you put them on and don't leak liquids at all. Could not be happier with buying these and am going to get a couple more sets for gifts.
