I bought your black ties for use in my garden, holding plants,in place, as they grow. The color black was chosen so that it was not obvious to the sight. The strength and durability were not factors as the plants are not that strong enough to break the ties. In fact most of the length of the ties were discarded as they were trimmed to fit the plants. On the strong side, I will use the ties to secure my hurricane shutters for our impending storms. The must withstand, in some cases winds in excess of 180mph!!
