Not as bad as some claim
So many narrow minded miserable people in our society today. Look, a movie is but a story and each story has something to offer. Each one is rated, not always properly, but is. Hollywood doesn't have a "psychological thriller" category so they lump it under horror. Unfortunately, most idiots expect horror to be something filled with CGI, blood and gore and when they don't get that, they slam the movie. Ma was a very good story. A movie about a damaged woman whose traumas from childhood had a huge effect on her mental stability. She eventually seeks revenge on her childhood tormentors by going after their kids as well as them. I found the movie to be gripping, edgy and well acted.
