Works as advertised when used properly.
It gets a bit messy and requires plenty of work to polish scratches out, but the powder works as advertised and at a good price. It works much better than the polishing compound supplied with my Windshield scratch removing kit.
I would happily buy again to get rid of windshield scratches.
FYI: my scratches are pretty noticable and across most of the windshield, so 2-3 treatments will probably be necessary. ( there is plenty of powder in this bag for 4-5 treatments of a windshield!)
UPDATE: I just wanted to update with a few tips for the Do it yourselfer.
1) Water to powder ratio should be about 2:1. This is crucial and possibly why it took me 3 treatments to clear off scratches from my car. The first treatment was because I diluted the powder too much in distilled water, the last treatment is because I missed some spots close the the edges of the windshield as I used a 5" felt wheel and pad.
2) Try to keep working surface wet when buffing with a spray bottle.
3) Make sure you know what areas need scratch removal. You can use a dry erase marker on the other side of the glass before you start so that way you know where to buff.
4) Keep the drill/buffer/sander moving. Don't keep it in one area
5) Check your work before cleaning up. It's a lot of work cleaning off the slurry from the windshield. You don't want to do it more than once if possible.
6) Work in a cool shaded area. I was forced to work in a area exposed to the sun and the water kept evaporating from glass/pad.
