Great docking station for new MacBooks
This was essentially "plug and play" as they say. Just plug the two USB-C type connectors into the MacBook and your ready to go. I have an 2nd monitor connected via HDMI and and an Ethernet cord that goes to wired Internet and the both work instantly when plugged in. Have also used the USB-A ports and they have worked well. Highly recommended.
