I am not a verified purchase because I got him somewhere else. I did come to Amazon after mine was not working. I called Hasbro and found out what was wrong. When you take him off DEMO mode, put him in “ON” mode. Then place the cookie or broccoli on his tongue! He is only able to use motion sensor when he was on DEMO. To conserve batteries while “ON” he must be activated with his food, or else he goes into sleep mode!
