FORGET ABOUT the animosity between Trump, Bannon and Wolff long enough to read; you'll be stunned by how little our votes mean
I've read a good deal of this so far. The first thing the reader MUST do is to put aside the fact that Wolff and Bannon have very serious conflicts with Trump.
Do yourself a favor and avoid taking sides while reading Fire and Fury.
It is NOT about how terrible Trump is (although, he is indeed a man with some disturbing self-perspectives) It is NOT about why Trump shouldn't be where he is today, though he most certainly should not be.
What it IS about, is how he got there; how he and his campaign literally scammed 62,979,879 voters with one goal in mind simply to improve his global standing - he didn't even want to win the election. Rather; it was about the Trump brand and identity he would vastly improve upon had he become close to winning.
If you do, I promise you that you will gain some extraordinarily disturbing and frightening facts about our election process and the insight into those who actually run this nation.
Fire and Fury book is a dead serious look into the extreme delicateness of what we like to call "our democracy." It will shake your faith in our system; in humanity; and most of all, it will utterly destroy your false sense of empowerment in our current election system.
You will walk away with a deeply disturbing reality that, due to big money, gerrymandering, and the Electoral College, just how unimportant your vote truly is.
The book is extraordinarily intriguing and informative. As you read, remembering many recent wild and historical events, the ups and downs of Trump's behavior, his ever-changing policy directions and acidic remarks directed at all who don't kneel in praise of Donald J Trump SR, you begin to see the man who, with a complete lack of understanding of the global and domestic politics alike, Trump's vision, or utterly absent vision, one gets the very clear picture of the chaotic White House we've seen for now almost a year and the single most attributable cause for that chaos; Donald J Trump.
You know? We are constantly bombarded with cliches, one in particular; "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it". I cannot think of another example, living or dead, that the scenario in which we find ourselves today is more applicable. If we fail to learn from this disastrous event, we, as a freedom-loving Republic will repeat it until we too are a page in history.
