I bought an LG 34WL500 from Bestbuy at good price, but the rez was 2560x1080 - just a bit too low as there was ghosting and blurriness around text. Bought new LG 34WN80C-B with 3440x1440 rez and the image is much sharper, more defined, has better contrast, and is a lot brighter. Monitor out-of-box has no defects or light-bleed. The USB-C is very useful as it charges my MBP so there is no need for plugging into a charger. The height of the stand is also a plus as this monitor sits high enough above my laptop's screen.
