We live in Florida, and I the "palmetto bug" (aka enormous, disgusting roaches that seem to be everywhere in Florida) problem started freaking me out - I would see multiple in my house daily. And when I walked into our garage at night, you could hear their little feet scurrying everywhere when you turned on the light... It made my skin crawl. We have a 3,400 square foot house , so I didn't mess around. I bought 4 packs of 8. I put 5 traps in our garage alone, one trap in every room, and two traps in the bigger rooms. I put a couple traps on our back porch as well. Within one week, the roaches were GONE. GONE!!! No more late night roaches crawling across my living room floor as I watched tv! No more scurrying bugs when I walk into the garage at night! What a miracle!! All the baits were placed in an inconspicuous location and have been left out the entire time. In the last 5 months, I have spotted maybe 5 palmetto bugs, all of which were clearly very sick and near death - moving very slowly or almost not at all. I still haven't replaced the baits that I initially set out, even though the instructions indicate they would be replaced every 3 months, but perhaps it is because I put so many out. Anyway, my one complaint about living in Florida was the bugs, and now these baits have solved that problem! I am so happy to have found them! UPDATE: it has been 9 months since I initially set out the roach killing bait, and in the last week I have seen two palmetto bugs that seem to be alive and well inside my house as well as one inside my garage - so I am finally replacing the original baits in my downstairs. I am very happy to have lived the last 9 months completely roach free and thrilled that my initial baits lasted so long. I can whole heartedly say this was money well spent.
