The quality of construction is superior. The ease of setting up and taking down is great. It is a decent height to assist with getting in and out of the cot. We had two adults sit on the cot and it held up beyond expectation. It has a handy little bag attached that is perfect for phone, eyeglasses, and few other small items (inhaler, rx, whistle, etc). There are no bars to hit your pressure points; however, the mid-section is very taut and does cause some pressure on your back. If you move up or down a bit you can find a better position. The mattress is very thin and might assist in keeping the cold at bay, but it doesn't add to the comfort. Save the money and purchase the cot WITHOUT the "mattress". Personally, I will purchase a 4" foam pad to lay on top.
