I personally love the look of a flip cover. When I purchased my Samsung Galaxy S4 last week, I decided that this time around I am going to purchase a flip cover and I ended up purchasing this product which is produced by Samsung. After receiving the product I was very impressed. The build and finish of the product is very solid. To install the cover, you need to open the back cover of your phone and insert the back cover that is provided by the product, which the flip cover is attached to. The back cover provided was not the same design as my Galaxy S4 Black Mist from T-Mobile, however the designs were almost identical and the quality is exactly the same. The flip cover aligns and covers the screen perfectly. Under the flip cover is microfiber, which is very gentle on the screen and holds against the screen very well. The flip cover is very slim and does not add any thickness to the phone. The appearance is gorgeous. The satin stitching is done in one direction which causes beautiful light reflection. The cover is very simple but the simplicity is wonderful. However, nothing is perfect. Even though the cover is great, I have a few issues. The flip cover is very slim and seems to be very weak in durability. If someone were to bend the cover by mistake, it would be completely destroyed and ruined. For such a high price, I expected the cover to be made of plastic or a material more durable. Also, the cover does not stay on the screen and can move around while in your pocket. This causes a lot of debris and lint to enter inside the cover which ends up being stuck on the microfiber and that can lead to small scratches on the screen of your phone. My last issue is that when you install this product, the back cover has no protection. I do understand that is part of the design however it is very prone to being scratched, which can ruin the beauty of the Galaxy S4. I did end up returning this product because I've found a similar Smart Cover from a third party on Amazon, which protects the entire phone for the same price as this one. Overall, if you are looking for a slim, sleek, and beautiful flip cover then this is a great product for you. However, if you are looking for a durable cover, then I would avoid this one. My friend purchased this product from a third party for a very low price and it turned out to be a counterfeit. If you prefer this case, I highly suggest you pay a little extra and purchase from amazon directly.
