Quiet, efficient, and effective at shredding credit cards. Everything ends up in little tiny bits. I read a lot of reviews before I tried this one for my home office, and I add my praise to the other positive reviews. I have had it about 10 months. It is far more solid than the ones the ones in the same price range at our local Office Depot/Office Max. I don't use it every day, but keep a sack where I out everything that needs to be shredded. Then about once a month I sit down and shred for about a half hour. My last one always got hot and I would have to pause after 15 minutes to let it cool down before it wanted to work again. This one handles the work smoothly and easily. I don't put more than 5 sheets in at a time though, just as a precaution. I want it to last, and I don't have to rush.
