I have a child with a cleft lip and cleft palate, who is prone to frequent ear infections due to her condition. She has ear tubes that are almost a year old. Because of COVID, we have tried to reduce the number of times we visit the doctor. Luckily, most our doctors have agreed to some sort of tele-practice during the pandemic, which has been wonderful. Still, I want to be careful and monitor my child's ear health and be able to see fistulas she has in her repaired palate. I have a very basic otoscope, but wanted something better quality. This is very close to professional quality. So good, that I wasn't sure how to use everything. So, I asked the nurse at the craniofacial clinic to show me how to use the scope and the accessories. She was impressed that I got this off of Amazon. Once I learned how to adjust everything, it is very easy to use. The build quality is great and I can see very clearly. Now I feel more comfortable doing daily checks of my child's ears, especially since we got a new backyard pool and swimmer's ear is a problem for everyone in the family. Highly recommend.
