My cat is a slow, arthritic jerk who loves her stairs
So, these are pretty much the cheapest pet stairs you can buy on Amazon. We bought them as a test to see if our grumpy, lazy, biting, arthritic cat would even use stairs. She can and she does, so these have been really great for getting her up onto the bed without meowing and lifting (usually followed by growling, because she hates being picked up).
Pros: These stay in place on a rug and don't slide around. They easily support the weight of a, ahem, 20 pound cat. It was super easy to train her to use them, and she's not very bright. I just put a couple treats on each stair and on the bed, and she got herself up no problem. Now she does it on her own a couple times a day. These have been a game changer in terms of her happiness and mobility. Oh, and they're surprisingly unobtrusive. They don't take up much space at all or become a focal point of the room.
Cons: The color isn't ideal, and these are probably too short for a bed on a taller frame. We have our box spring and mattress directly on the floor (ugh, don't ask), so they work well for us.
Overall: I would buy these again in a heartbeat if I needed small bargain pet stairs. Now that I know my cat will use stairs, I'll probably buy a more expensive and aesthetically pleasing model for the couch in the living room. But seriously, these are a good deal given the price of other models, so it's easy to overlook the appearance if your cat needs a little boost.
