I love the shorts and the colors! However, depending on your shape you may want to size up. I am 5’5, 158lbs and depending on the item and brand, I usually wear a size 10-12. I bought a pair of these swim shorts by Aleumdr (flag print for 4th of July) in a large and they fit nicely so I bought a L in these as well. They are a little too tight and not on the 12-14 side if you have trouble with weight gain in the middle section, love handle area, and butt and thighs like I do. I’m not returning because I’m currently losing weight so they are an incentive becaus I really do like them. I’m attaching a pic against my better judgement because I look for these in reviews when buying online so hoping to help someone who might be undecided about size. Size chart does nothing for me.
