Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

My thoughts on reviews are; like grades average products should be 3 stars, above average 4 stars, and Outstanding products should be 5 stars. So ink is a commodity right? Find your printer, order cheap, as long as reviews are bad. We all know that the printer manufacturers almost give the printers away, because they want to get to you to buy that precious ink (which they can charge upwards of $100/ounce); a total scam. They have pricing built on convenience, how much it costs to print by other means etc. - its not based on the cost of making ink. So it makes sense they go to extreme to "scare" you into buying their ink, or use chips making the printer either useless or difficult to use. They really don't want you to buy third part inks, there is lots of profit at stake. Printers with chips try to keep you mis-informed on printer status - ink levels, maintenance, etc. iKong comes along, with very reasonably priced ink, with functional chips. All is good - a quality product, and a great price. Very consumer friendly. This is a 4 star all the way, maybe 4.5. Our sneaky printer manufacturer (HP) pushes out a driver update - which invalidates all of the chips, except HP's. Printer starts screaming errors, and becomes a brick. iKong - proactively contacts me about what has happened, to see if I am having this problem with their ink. If so, they will send a replacement to see if it will fix the problem. Within 2 weeks of the HP update, I have all new cartridges that work perfectly. This is good old fashioned customer Service, and show this is a company that deserves our business. Buy with confidences - great value, great service, great quality. This is how internet shopping should work - and how HP should do their business. Now if only iKong would make a Printer!
