Sounds too good to be true, but I swear it is true.
I was very nervous about this purchase because a lot was riding on it. I'm a medicinal marijuana patient, and I'd been threatened with eviction because of the smoke. A friend told me about this machine, but I figured making butter and cooking with weed would be just as smelly. Not so. They rightly recommend that you do a process with the buds called decarboxylation. It triples the potency, or so I've read, and after the five hour zowie I got from a very small brownie at the end of this maiden voyage, I believe it. You just put the buds in an oven bag, seal it, and put it in a 250 degree oven for 40 minutes. Activates a whole bunch of THC(a). It's also very cost effective. I put 1/2 oz in the machine with two cups of butter and the emulsifier. Ended up with 1.25 cups of cannabutter. 3/4ths of a cup went into brownies that ended up, after trial and error, being cut into 99 small slices and frozen. My pain is severe and constant, but this takes a strong three points off the pain scale and lasts at that level for five to six hours, ending with a mellow phase with two points or pain reduction that can last another few hours. So it's two of those tiny brownies per day at a cost of $1.80 per day, as opposed to the $26.60 per day smoking it cost. I am assuming Amazon will not delete this, considering they sell Zig Zags, pipes, rolling machines and THIS machine. I hope they don't, anyway, because this is valuable information for patients here. It's a fantastic investment. Yearly cost before: $9,500. Yearly cost now? About $560. I'd call that significant. So I recommend the hell out of this. Even the self-cleaning function works to satisfaction. Great machine.
