Coming from a skeptic, these do seem to actually work. Taste great too.
I was at GNC the other day picking up a multivitamin, and I also reached for a Monster Zero Ultra, my usual go to when I'm in need of a bit of a low calorie energy boost. However, the dude at the counter recommended I try one of these Mango C4 drinks instead. I figured "why not?" and gave it a go. I liked it enough that I looked into buying a bunch of them on Amazon, and sure enough, I could get a 12 pack. Awesome. Now I initially thought that the whole "brain boosting" aspect of this drink was a load of baloney. That said, it had all the other ingredients I was looking for, so I didn't care much. However, I did want to make sure I wasn't putting garbage into my body, so I did some research on the actual ingredients that are responsible for the claimed "performance enhancing" effects. That substance is called Citicoline. In this drink you'll see it referred to as Cognizin Citicoline. Cognizin is simply the brand name from this particular pharmaceutical provider. According to WebMD, "Citicoline was originally used as a prescription drug to help improve memory, thinking, and brain function in people who are healing from a stroke. It is primarily used as a dietary supplement in the U.S." WebMD also states that "Citicoline seems to increase a brain chemical called phosphatidylcholine. This brain chemical is important for brain function." So there seems to be an element of truth to these claims, that this drink does, in fact, boost mental sharpness and acuity. What about in practice? Well, I've had one of these every day for the last week or so, and while I admit it could be placebo, I have definitely noticed an improved ability to focus and stay on task while I'm at work. My mood has also improved, as being productive generally makes me feel better. So yea, I think these are going to become my new daily drivers. I've only tried the Mango flavor so far which I like, I'll update if I ever get around to sampling the other varieties.
