Pumps out a ton of air and the fan itself isn't that loud. The mounting bracket isn't shaped very well to mount to a single stud (you might catch 2 out of 3 screws in a stud), so I just cut a 2x4 to mount the bracket to, and screwed the 2x4 to the stud.. At full left turn mine rattles for 1-2 seconds straight out of the box. I'm fairly bummed about that, but shipping it back over that seems like a waste of time and money. If it gets worse i'll use the 1 year warranty since by then the rattle will be the same or much much worse. UPDATE: I've had the fan on 24/7 since it arrived, so about a month now. The rattle vanished, and it has operated 100% since so I think it was just a breaking in of the plastic for how I had it mounted.
